Choosing a paper size
A1 for working drawings
A1 (594 × 841 mm) is the standard sheet for architectural GA drawings at 1:50 and 1:100.
A3 for reduced sets
A3 copies of A1 drawings are exactly half size, so a 1:100 drawing reads at 1:200. Useful for client packs and site folders, but mark them “reduced” so nobody scales off them.
Colour for presentation
Use colour for rendered plans, landscape layouts, colour-coded fire strategy or demolition drawings and anything going to a client or planning committee.

Each extra copy of the same plan costs less than the first, for example A1 is £4.95 a sheet for the first copy and £4.45 for each extra copy.
Orders paid by 3:00pm on a working day are printed the same day; later orders are printed the next working day.

Can you print a full set of architectural drawings in one order?
Yes. Upload up to 20 PDFs at a time, as many times as you need, and choose the size and number of copies for each drawing. Multi-page PDFs are fine; every page is printed.
Do you print architectural drawings to scale?
Yes. Drawings are printed at 100% of the PDF page size, so a drawing set up at 1:100 on an A1 page prints at 1:100 on A1. Make sure your PDF page size matches the paper you order.
What is the most common size for architectural plans?
A1 is the most common size for architectural working drawings in the UK, with A0 used for large sites and A3 for reduced copies and client packs.
