Civils drawings tend to be big, numerous and revised often. Upload long drawing registers in one go, print the large-format sheets at A0 or A1, and order reduced A3 sets for the site team from the same files.

Choosing a paper size
A0 for long sections and large sites
A0 (841 × 1189 mm) gives the most room for long sections, large site layouts and survey drawings at 1:200 or 1:500.
Keep a reduced set
A3 copies are half the size of A1 and a quarter the area of A0, handy for the site diary and toolbox talks; mark them as not to scale.
